Acknowledgements

First of all I want to thank God for the many many blessings and for the abundance of opportunities that have led me here; as well as all the saints, angels and ancestors in heaven who have watched over me and my family all these years. To my Mom and Dad, I can’t thank you enough, I'm so privileged (and a bit spoiled), I wouldn't be here without your support and encouragement, (I mean I literally would not be in this world without you) there is no way I could ever fully express my gratitude, I love you both so much. Natascha Bastian, my best friend soulmate, I can't fathom what life would be like without you in it - pretty boring that's for one. You know me through and through and I value our relationship more than all the jewels of the world. To all my nieces/nephews, as I've said before, you've taught me more than I could ever teach you, you inspire me to be a better educator and person everyday. To my entire family, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, and everyone in between, I love you all very much and thank you for all the love that I have received. A HUGE thank you to one of my best friends, Jasmin Raith, who is always there for me - even from across the world -listening to my stories at all times of the day and night, and for being one of my number one supporters since the day we met. Thank you for helping me edit all of my writing, (you literary genius) without you my work would never reach its full potential; and though you're across the world, it feels like you're right here with me. Now I couldn't write acknowledgments without mentioning my dogs, Precious, Buddy, Poppy and Lucy, my true emotional support. Finally, thank you to all who have been in my life, because while my memories are my own, the lessons learned simply would not be without every single person I have ever known - family, friend, neighbor, teacher, acquaintance, co-worker, and stranger. I only hope to keep growing, learning and loving from the people in my life - past, present, and future.
